NEW RANGE: SYSTEMS COLLECTION 2011

In addition to fresh patterns and innovations for vertical blinds and panel curtains, the highlights in this collection also include Roman blinds: we have brought these back into the range by special request from many people, and fitted them with an ingenious clic mechanism. We present a new fitting technique for roller blinds, together with the 3-meter wide MEGATRIC product for wider window facades, which can also be fitted with remote control operation (MEGATRIC POWER).

NEW LEVEL OF CONVENIENCE: MOTORISED CURTAIN TRACKS

Wherever very high or very heavy curtains are required, we would recommend another new feature: MONOTRAC POWER RTS, the curtain system with an electric drive. This innovative technology makes it easy to open and close curtains, even when the material is heavy. It uses automatic Touch Motion Function – a light pulling movement is all it takes.

NEW INSIGHTS: UEFA SCORES WITH NEW TEXTILES

The European football association and Création Baumann have worked as a team to kit out the former’s premises in Nyon (Switzerland) with the best possible visual shielding and glare protection, and improved the level of protection against noise.

CRÉATION BAUMANN AWARDED CERTIFICATE

On 8th June 2011, Création Baumann and other finalists were presented with the Enterprise Certificate for Espace Mittelland (the region of Switzerland covering the cantons of Bern, Fribourg, Jura, Neuchâtel and Solothurn). This Swiss Venture Club (SVC) certificate is awarded for innovative products and services that are successful in the longer term, and for exemplary company cultures. Read more

A fascinating network: this key theme attracted about 600 architects, interior architects and designers to this year’s Designer Working Day in Hamburg, held in the historical Kaischuppen 52, next to the expanding HafenCity development project. Read more

NEW SHOWROOM OPENED IN WARSAW

Alex-moda, our distribution partner in Poland, opened new showrooms in the heart of Warsaw in January 2011. DECOon, as the showroom is called, extends over more than 130m2, and provides architects, interior designers and specialist retailers plenty of space to enjoy Création Baumann’s collections. We are grateful to Alex-moda for the success of our collaborate efforts, and wish them great results in the new showroom.

“WEBERHERZEN”: A PERMANENT EXHIBITION IN LANGENTHAL

Following the success of the “In the Weave” book, here is another premiere to celebrate the 125th anniversary: the “Weberherzen” exhibition opened at Création Baumann’s premises in Langenthal in May 2011 – and includes a wide range of objects, photos and episodes from our seminal history.
