Création Baumann presents the 2018 Collection “Cotton & Stories”
The “Cotton & Stories” Collection from Création Baumann engenders free and spontaneous combinations: Cotton fabrics in a casual style meet with delicate embroideries, fresh print designs, tweed optics and quilt-ed reliefs; soft volumes with firm weave and sumptuous textures. An extensive colour palette encom-passes earthy tones, pastel hues, dark elegant colours as well as striking greens and blues and a fresh mandarin.
Use of different colours and materials for warp and weft enhance the grainy appearance and lend the item charm. The brushed, soft feel and light creasing which give it its relaxed air derive from a wash process. Baudolino captivates with a contemporary, nonchalant look.
The in the warp direction crushed article combines in the weft cotton with a delicate metal yarn. Its irregular creasing, soft volume and matt look bestow natural, understated charm to the item. Cascade lends interiors a casual and relaxed ambiance.
The texture of clear quilted lines makes a fascinating contrast to the elegant satin quality. Castor intriguingly blends graphic, masculine concepts with softly draping satin.
The classic tweed look is given verve and contemporary interpretation with colourful yarn effects and a delicate sheen.
The slightly irregular grid-like crêpe texture, the fluid drape qualities and soft feel are its hallmark. They underline the attractive, distinctive and natural look.
Painted elements appear spontaneously to converge in a border. The natural look of the underlying Serata lends an interior a great ambiance with floral colour accents.
Filigree embroidered flower borders on Serata quality and a subtle, poetic expression.
Both an understated classic and a best-selling fabric. A densely woven cotton fabric with a dry, slightly grainy feel for purists.
The distinctive cotton velour appears in stylish new colouring. Elegant deep shades in blue and petrol and a jaunty green link up with attractive red tones and subtle tones in pistachio, pink and mauve.
Cut thread technique in refined combination with matt and gleaming weft yarns on a subtly textured base. The bold, slightly irregular diagonal grid is softened with an ikat-like yarn shift that blurs the outline and makes it more organic.
