In spite of all advice to the contrary, this dilapidated old barn has been retained and will be used as an extended living area for the house. When the barn was converted into a home in the Swiss canton of Thurgau the aim was to retain the simple nature of the architecture.
Solution
The chicken shed was converted into a conservatory and furnished with a large sofa covered in CAVALLO PIU, transforming the building into a comfortable chill-out zone. Height-adjustable pads on the made-to-measure sofas allow the space to be used just as effectively as a garden dining room or as a lounge.
