The striking and unique glass façade of the new Hamburg landmark glitters from afar in the sunshine. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the interior of the building offer a fantastic view but also let in a lot of light. However, curtain fabrics are needed to offer protection against unwanted light and heat to guests in 'The Westin Hamburg' luxury hotel within the building. The same solution is also sought for the backstage area and not just for the hotel itself.
The curtain fabric SHADOW is used that offers the best possible view to the outside and perfectly complements the elegant and clear aesthetics of the hotel rooms and suites. The artists in the backstage area can also escape from prying eyes and individually regulate the influx of light behind the scenes in the concert halls with the Shadow fabric.
A total of 2700 metres of the classic SHADOW fabric have so far been integrated into the interior design of the Elbe Philharmonic Hall. A complete glass façade of the gigantic concert hall has been uniformly furnished with fabric supplied by the Langenthal-based family company.
