Situation
Mount Fuji Architects Studio’s residence impresses with its reinforced concrete construction in combination with wood, opening up towards the landscape. The concrete construction seizes the materiality of the Tateyama mountain range in front of the building to blend in with its environment.
Solution
To break up the rough surfaces, the SCALA curtain was liberally installed in the living area. Thanks to its linen finish and sophisticated reserved shine, the fabric perfectly integrates with the room, creating a balanced interplay of materials.
