Initial situation
The glass and concrete Falken building is home to private apartments, offices, and shops. A multicoloured facade formed of classic curtains (four to five different colours) that can be exposed to varying outdoor temperatures and humidity was requested.
Solution
We developed a curtain fabric meeting all the requirements towards reflection and transmission values, resistance, and esthetics.
The combination of the many colours and the reflection values required were actually implemented by means of two different fabrics. Coarse-meshed tulle helps to ensure colouring, with an aluminum-vaporized fabric set behind it fulfilling the technical requirements. In addition to this, we also supplied roller blinds (Rollectro with Sonor) for the district court housed in the same building.
The innovative textile solution thus created now coins the cityscape of the town of Baden.
