Shibaura House is a place used as a platform to foster interaction—not only between the office workers but also with regards to its community. Therefore, as much glass as possible was used to create levels where the building joins its environment in a light and open manner.
The steel-metallised "Steel Base" curtains are used to regulate light and heat.“Steel Base" creates a transparent look without notable cutbacks in performance. Yet the building presents itself in a light and open manner to the outside, with the curtains as a central feature of its architecture.
