Starting point

A partition with acoustic properties for designing a "room in a room", also acting as the backdrop of an exhibition.

Solution

A curtain crafted from a blend of sheer Betacoustic and opaque Lord II for visual privacy. To ensure the curtain is machine washable, two fabrics with identical shrinking properties were chosen. Additionally, it was important that both sides of the fabrics could be used.
For acoustic reasons 100% of fabric needed to be added and was processed using curve/wave manufacture providing a beautiful finish on both sides. For flexibility and ease of cleaning, the large curtain was subdivided into several parts joined by velcro straps.
