Initial situation
The Widder Hotel is a small and exquisite luxury hotel situated in the calm and enchanting Augustine district of Zurich’s old part of town. Tilla Theus converted nine historic town houses into one modern luxury hotel. Everything old is authentic and everything new is technically necessary and makes artistic sense.
Solution
The penthouse suite can only be described as captivating and delightful: luxurious, stylish and warm. The striking plaid ELUIS serves as a bedspread.
The light-flooded pavilion is used as a breakfast or a meeting room. The spectacular glass roof can be opened in the summer time thanks to a sophisticated technical mechanism. Simple roller blinds fit perfectly into the room’s overall concept and offer individual glare protection.
