Starting point
The Hirslanden Clinic, set up in the 1930s by architect Hermann Weideli is an example of cultivated architectonic design expressed in a cubic structure and holistic organisation, outside as well as inside the building.
Solution
The care department (with its hotel-like patient accommodation) was extended as part of the Minerva expansion project. Sereno was used as a transparent day curtain in the exclusively designed patients’ rooms. The yellow Lerida curtain brings colour into the patients’ rooms as well as various other spaces within the Hirslandenklinik.
